Went on St. Paddy's Day and it didn't disappoint. Real Irish pub on a real Irish day in NYC.

Pre-theater meal was really good. We were there about 5pm and the place was not crowded. Then it was. Typical bar ambiance with a couple of standouts like bathrooms with sliding barn doors. So cool! Food was really good! 4 of us had Shepherd's Pie, soft Pretzels, and the best corned beef Reuben. We liked it so much, we came back after Gypsy and had drinks and apps in the enclosed rooftop. This girl, who's usually in bed by 9pm, was out till 3am. I highly recommend Connoly's

I only had an app while I was there because I was waiting on my family while they were seeing a show at the theatre down the street. But the pretzel sticks app was great. The bartenders were great, kept my Guiness coming and when I decided to switch recommended and great hazy ipa, the name of which escapes me. The place was hopping with NCAA BBall Tournament going on, lots of groups being catered to. I'll be back next time we're in Manhattan!

Fun Irish pub to spend time after the St. Patricks day parade. Be prepared , it gets very crowded but the staff professionally handles the crowd with grace. They have the typical Irish fanfare food that would be expected at an Irish Pub. I had the good ole' Corned beef and cabbage. The Corned beef was a little dry but quite a portion. The potatoes and carrots were pure perfection. Connolly's has a vast selection of beer . If you are looking for an Irish beer to try I suggest Smithwicks. It's a satisfying red ale. Connolly's also has Allagash - the beer that compliments any meal! Fun place to have a beer , burger and to celebrate life!

Great Irish pub right near Times Square. Typical Irish pub fare with a warm dark wood interior. Only stopped in for a few pints with a bunch of the Irish fans of the Mayo Ireland GAA football team who had traveled to the US to support the team in their match with New York. Great vibe! Good fun!

We ate at here on the first night of our trip to NYC, and as the last meal before we left. We were seated immediately and the food was tasty. We had burgers and fries, both were phenomenal. The atmosphere was homey, very casual- just what we wanted and needed! Convenient to our hotel. Would definitely eat here again!

Was in NYC on my day off and stumbled upon this Irish pub/restaurant and since it was lunch time figured id give it a shot. I was greeted and seated within a couple of minutes. The atmosphere is warm and inviting The menu is a mix of traditional American food and beers as well as Irish classic food such as shepherds pie , Irish breakfast sausage , and bangers and mash (which is what I ordered). The server I had had an Irish accent which added to the overall feel of the restaurant. I also had the Connollys Irish Red house beer. The Bangers and mash were exceptional and cooked the perfection. The potatoes were light and airy and the bangers were nice a juicy. I don't have Irish food often but when I do I try to find a place that is as close to authentic as I can find. I will definitely be back when I come to the city again Gave 4 stars because the men's bathroom on the first floor is very tiny hard to move in

Classic Irish pub in the heart of Manhattan. If they take their Guinness pouring seriously, you know it's legit! I would like to return to try some food- the people sitting next to us raved about the shepherds pie and fish & chips, so if you're hungry I would try those two dishes! The 4th floor has a rooftop, I didn't have a chance to go but heard it's nice! Great service, friendly staff, and great beer selection!

I cannot comment on the drinks. I cannot really comment on the ambiance. What I can comment on is the service and our meal that afternoon and the service. Their chili stuffed potato skin was filling, comforting, and so good! It's a meal in itself, but it served as our appetizer. I don't see it on the menu anymore. I ordered their Harp Beer Battered Fish and Chips while he ordered the Guiness Grilled Rib Steak. Their fries were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The fish wasn't greasy. They were huge pieces of fish fried perfectly. It paired so well w/ the coleslaw and the tanginess from the tartar sauce. The leftovers did create a bit of grease, but it was to be expected. I still enjoyed it that night! I was thirsty and must have had 4 Diet Coke refills. Our server was quick and checked on us a few times. I really appreciate the fact that I did not have to ask for a refill of my soda. I wasn't so sure about the steak, but he finished it and said it was good. Mmmm, I'm thinking about the fish and chips and potato skins right now!
